I grew up on Long Island. I was saved at at 18 years of age at Piedmont Bible College. In 1989, the Lord called me to be a missionary while in bible college; I graduated in 1991 from Piedmont, Winston-Salem, NC, with a degree in Missionary Aviation. In 1994, I joined Baptist Mid-Missions to serve as a missionary in the Amazon of Brazil.

While on deputation, I met my wife Robin. We were married in 2000. We served as missionaries in brazil from 2001 – 2011. We have two daughters. In 2013 the Lord led us back to the US, where I served as a pastor of a Baptist church in the Seneca Nation of Indians. We came to First Baptist Church in May 2019. In March of 2020 I was promoted to senior pastor.
